What is NanoClaw?
NanoClaw is a lightweight, open source personal AI agent with a clear motto: 'Secure. Lightweight. Yours.' It connects to messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and Discord.
It prioritizes security through Linux container isolation: each agent group runs in an isolated Docker container with its own filesystem. Credentials are never stored in the container — they're injected at request time through OneCLI's Agent Vault.
It uses Docker by default on macOS, Linux and Windows (WSL2), supports Docker Sandboxes with micro-VMs for extra isolation, and on macOS offers Apple Container as a native alternative. It's built for people who want to fully own their assistant: 'small enough to understand' (~15 source files), open source under MIT.
