AI is creating more jobs than it is eliminating

The figures are encouraging: while two years ago many experts predicted an "employment apocalypse" caused by AI, actual data from 2026 shows that employment is growing in sectors driven by this technology.

It's like when the internet arrived. Many people feared that websites would destroy jobs, but in reality they created thousands of new positions: developers, designers, digital marketing specialists, social media managers. The same is happening now with AI.

Where are the new jobs? Companies need people to train AI systems, supervise their operation, troubleshoot when something fails, and create new applications. An accountant who learns to use AI to automate reports doesn't lose their job: they transform it. They spend less time on repetitive tasks and more on strategic analysis.

In Latin America, this opens an important door. Professionals who learn to work with AI—not against it—will be in high demand. Managers, entrepreneurs, marketing specialists, analysts: all of them can increase their productivity and professional value by mastering these tools.

The transformation is real, but it's not the disaster we feared. It's more like how we transitioned from typewriters to computers: there were changes, yes, but those who adapted thrived.
