Canva added AI to everything: here's what you can do now without being a designer

If you've ever used Canva to make an Instagram post, a logo, or a presentation, get ready: the tool just integrated artificial intelligence into practically all its features. And the best part is that most are included in the free plan.

What can you do now with Canva + AI?

1. Generate images from scratch. You type "a coffee cup on a wooden table with a plant beside it, professional photography style" and Canva generates the image. No need to search stock photo sites or pay for images.

2. Remove backgrounds with one click. Upload your product photo, click, and the background disappears. Before you needed Photoshop and several minutes; now it takes 2 seconds.

3. Write text automatically. You tell it "write the text for an Instagram post about a bakery grand opening in Lima" and it gives you ready-to-use options, in whatever tone you choose.

4. Create complete presentations. You describe the topic and audience, and Canva generates a presentation with design, text, and images. You just adjust it.

5. Translate designs. You have a design in Spanish and need an English or Portuguese version. The AI translates all the text while keeping the design intact.
